Calendar Descriptions
- EXPLORING ART: Fun hands on art and crafts.
- CLASSIC SKATING/POOL DAY: Your child may bring their scooter or roller blades for Classic Skating. Address is on the calendar. *Field Trip Shirt will be worn. For swimming pool day, each child will need to bring a TOWEL and a SWIMMING SUIT in a bag with their name on it. This bag will need to go home each evening and brought back the next week. Please make sure that the towel and swimsuit have the child’s name clearly marked on it. If your child cannot swim, you must provide a life jacket.
- IN THE KITCHEN: Children are allowed to add ingredients, mix and eat what they make. *All projects will be prepared individually to cut down on any possible germ transferring.
- ELECTRONICS: Children can bring games and small electronic devices. They will be given a limit on how much time they can spend on their device. Families are responsible to know what is loaded on their child’s device. If we see something that is not safe, we will not allow the child to play on the device any longer and they will not be able to bring a device in the future.
- CINEMA MAGIC: We will be going to Scera Shell to watch a movie. Popcorn and a drink will be served. Address is on the calendar. *Field Trip Shirt will be worn
- SENSORY FUN: Children will explore using their different senses.
- OUTDOOR EXTRAVAGANZA: Travel around to different parks. We go to the park and play on the playground, play kickball, etc. All addresses are on the calendar. *Field trip shirt will be worn
- STEAM: Intentional learning through science, technology, engineering, and math.
- CRAFTS: Using creativity to complete crafts.
- EXCURSIONS: Field trips (PLEASE REFER TO THE SCHEDULE TO SEE THE TIMES THAT WE WILL LEAVE AND RETURN. We cannot wait for children who arrive late.) *Please have your child wear clothing they can get wet in on splash pad days (Field Trip Shirt will be worn) All addresses are located on the calendar.
- SECOND STEP: Is a social-emotional learning program that teaches various social and emotional skills such as emotion recognition and management, empathy, problem solving, bullying prevention, and goal-setting.
